Meet the Parents session - My Feedback

Hi.

It was a successful and fruitful session for me. I get to meet up with the parents of 20 of my pupils (yes I do keep track). The atmosphere was very positive and my two main objectives were met.

They were:
  1. By getting myself acquainted (I LIKE this word very much) with the parents, it give me the chance to introduce myself to them, to reassure them that I have the necessary experience to a whip a P6 class into shape
  2. Getting to know you guys better cos after all, I only know all of you for about 6 weeks ...

Please help me to thank your parents and I'll be speaking to all of you again on Monday on what I've learnt from the meeting which I deem useful for all of you.

For those of us who parents did not turn up on Saturday, fret not! There will be another session after you SA1, however should your parents want to get in touch with me, there's always the school number, my e-mail as well as the pupil's handbook.

By the way, I had a pleasant afternoon after the session. I paid Miss Tan a visit and l had a great time catching up with her. Missed the days when she's still teaching in Cedar Primary and when we're still at our old site when we still had our Block A and B ...

Last but not the least, another feel which I got out of the session was the trust and confidence in me which I value greatly ... so here's the big question which I need everyone to answer ...

I'm going to do my best in terms of time and effort ... are you prepared to do the same and make 2009 your finest year ever? Before you answer, pause and think - say what you mean and mean what you say!
